Daikin was pleased to host “Teachers on Tour,” a program of the Lawrence County Career Technical Center on August 4th. The immersive learning experience helps educators connect with the workforce.
During this event, educators explore local manufacturing careers, gain firsthand insight into the skills employers value most, and learn about the high-demand, high-wage career opportunities available in our region.
CTE Day helps bridge the gap between the classroom and the workplace by providing educators with real-world experiences they can bring back to their students.
Participants build meaningful partnerships with local industry leaders, discover workforce training and career pathways available to students, and leave better equipped to guide students toward successful futures.
By strengthening connections between schools and local employers, CTE Day helps prepare students for rewarding careers while supporting the workforce needs of our community.
