About a dozen Daikin volunteers joined others from around Morgan County for United Way’s Day of Action, September 8.
Formerly known as the Day of Caring, the special United Way project matches volunteers with projects around the area that are in need of some special attention.
The Daikin crew divided and conquered two projects: staining a ramp at the home of a client of the Center for Developmentally Disabled and refreshing the parking lot for the Morgan County Child Advocacy Center.
Even the weather cooperated, and the crew reported they enjoyed a day of being outside and helping others.
