The Daikin Spirit of America Golf Classic at Burningtree Country Club takes place each June. But the best part of the event happens each fall when the tournament proceeds are donated to local charities.
This year, Daikin teamed up with Burningtree to donate $18,000 to Hands Across Decatur (HAD), which serves the needs of the growing homeless community in Decatur/Morgan County.
It’s been a challenging time for HAD lately, but this donation ensures they can provide meals and other services through the upcoming winter and well into next year.
