Decatur fifth graders from eleven city schools entered this year’s Daikin America Art Contest and the results were amazing. Daikin supplies paint, canvas, brushes, and other art supplies and students supply the creative vision.
This year’s theme: World Games 2022, in celebration of Birmingham’s hosting of the international athletic event.
Each entry was displayed in Daikin’s Decatur facility and will be again at the next Daikin Festival. Daikin employees vote for their favorites, with the winners receiving fun prizes.
The winners:
First Place: Banks Caddell Elementary
Second Place: Leon Sheffield Elementary
Third Place: West Decatur Elementary
