They have arrived!
Daikin America’s Homestay Program has been restructured as Daikin’s Cultural Experience Japan program and the inaugural class has arrived in Japan.
Eight students and one teacher chaperone from Morgan and Lawrence County High Schools will spend the next 7 days in Japan learning about Daikin and Japanese culture.
Upcoming seniors were given an opportunity to apply and interview for the experience. Once chosen, students have spent several months preparing for this trip.
They will tour Daikin facilities, an international high school, some famous historical and cultural sites, and will get to spend a day with Japanese host families.
We are all excited for this opportunity for them. Stay tuned to learn more about their experience.
