On May 13th, the Daikin Taiko Drum Team once again kicked off the opening ceremony for the DMH Foundation Dragon Boat Race & Festival, a ten-year tradition.
Daikin was a Silver Dragon Sponsor of the festival and entered two teams in the competition: Rhyme Oar Reason and Old Town Row. Rhyme Oar Reason scored first in their first race and Old Town Row was a close second in their initial outing.
Proceeds this year helped raise more than $100,000 to fund Surgical Services and Equipment for Decatur Morgan Hospital.
