What do you need to know for Daikin Festival 2024?

WHEN: This Friday, May 3, 2024, from 6:30pm until 9pm.
WHERE: Point Mallard Park
WHAT: Japanese culture meets Southern hospitality in a FREE event for the entire family.
WHO: Taiko Force drummers, local favorite classic rock band Natchez Trace, Daikin mascot Pichon Kun, the Colorful Hat Circus Act, and a few thousand of your friends and neighbors.
Food offerings include American favorites like BBQ, hamburgers, chicken fingers and jambalaya, plus delicious Japanese dishes like Yakisoba (grilled buckwheat noodles with beef in a special sauce) and Yakitori (charcoal grilled chicken).
You can learn Shodo–Japanese calligraphy–and even take in a fireworks show to end the evening.
The entire event, including food and drink is FREE of charge, compliments of Daikin. So, join us at Point Mallard for a community gathering unlike any other.
